A new member is set to be on the line up of the Philippine Azkals. A young Filipino professional footballer in one of Europe's top league in the German Bundesliga. His name is Kevin Ingreso.
Born to a Filipino father and a German mother in Hamburg, Germany. 18 Year old, Kevin Ingreso started his football career with the youth teams of TSV Wandsetal Hamburg, Concordia SC and FC St. Pauli and in 2007 saw his inclusion to Bundesliga club Hamburger SV youth squad.
March 25, 2011, Kevin would then play & score a goal for the first time in the Men's division for Hamburg SV 2nd Team's 2-0 Win Vs FC Oberneuland, Z. Lam in the 11th minute scored the opening goal before the promising Ingreso sealed their victory in the 32' mark.
He is most comfortable playing as an Attacking Mid-Fielder, a similar position played by Filipino-Spanish Angel Guirado for the Philippines' senior squad.
The club ensures smooth professional transition of Kevin as he is still listed also in the reserve squad of Hamburg SV.
Kevin may be one of the youngest pro players for the Azkals, but certainly will not be a push over as he gains more quality playing experience in Europe that could develop him to a formidable force in the middle forward for the future.
